                         Razer Naga epic driver problem

Ok so I'm making this blog for anyone that has had the issue I was having, as I have found a solution, yet was not able to find one on google search. I purchased the razer naga epic, and have had issues with the synapse 2.0 driver crashing back to default settings, once a usb device is unplugged or plugged in.

As you can imagine this is a problem since the mouse has a feature that allows you to plug it into via cable when low on batteries, which will then mess up the synapse driver. So I like many others have opted to use the legacy driver for the mouse, but I ran into an issue. When I installed the legacy driver 3.04 it wouldn't recognize the mouse. It gave me this error message, no razer naga detected, application will close now. This as you can imagine was very frustrating, I tried rolling back firmware, and other things to no avail, finally I tried the oldest version of the legacy driver I could find. 3.01 and it worked, and is still working just fine.

I just wanted to put this information out there as this wasted a lot of my time, and there was no support for this issue online, and razer was less than helpful. Also just in case anyone was wondering newest firmware works fine it's the legacy driver that needs to be older. Here's a link for the driver.
